Hello all, new member here from Texas. I don't have any Ninjas at the moment, but I am thinking about picking up a 300 in the future. I am just trying to learn as much as I can and hopefully contribute along the way.

Hello Hiddentoken. I'm in New Braunfels. Bought my bike at Alamo Cycle Plex from Marco. $5380 out the door, so if you buy there, that might be a starting point. Someone else on the forum from the area said the Kawa Dealer in Universal City sells reasonably too, but I didn't know about that dealership when I bought mine. After riding a liter bike, the 300 will seem like a toy, but a really fun toy you can wind out and even use all your gears in town. 6th gear is really long...from about 30 mph to 105 mph or so.
