Down this end of the planet wouldn't a nice pair of winter gloves suffice?? its not like we see the temp in the negatives!!!


I have seen them fitted to a couple bikes, they never seem to fit nicely!!

They are even nice to take the chill off at night or early in the morning.

If you have bigger hands they will fit you better than stock grips as well.
I used hotgrips brand, the ones that are for a 7/8" bar and are 4.75" long

Works very well =D

I would recommend them to anyone.

Yea true, and those really cold mornings I just won't ride!
Never been a fan of the thick winter gloves though!

Same, and I am a commuter most of the time... so i ride in the early mornings and at night.. the PEAK cold times... lol
I dont liek thick gloves either, but then again, I dont have specific bike loves yet.. only winter gloves, and they arent curved for a handle shape, they are steight, so your fingers get strained more so.

I rode from Melbourne to Bendigo last weekend and my fingers went numb. I planned to look into better gloves but a guy at work mentioned heated grips. Was going to look at the Oxford ones. Found this review on the net. They guys is pretty funny. Reminds me a little of Tony Horton.

Nothing beats heated grips. It is so nice. A warm pair of gloves keep your heat insulated but heated grips add heat and it adds heat for those times you didn't want a pair of warm gloves to start out the ride.
