mmm curry.
I made up / whipped up a quick lentil soup yesterday with the slow cooker and it actually came out pretty good (way better than doing it on stove top which is what I usually do). I sauteed onions and peppers with about 2-3 tbs of curry powder, 2-3 tbs of veg oil (1 w/ the sauteed spices and vegs and the rest into the pop), est 1/4 tsp onion powder, salt and cayenne pepper to taste, added about 3 cups of water and 1 cup of lentils into the slow cooker and left on low for 5-6 hours. Lentils were a little mushy, but I was totally fine with that.
