So i tried installing some hand grips on my bike, left side went on fairly quickly with glue. Right side was a fail with glue so i did the old hairspray trick for the throttle. Still has about a cm to go to be fully on but I ended up stopping because my hands got burned from twisting the grips on for such a long time… anyways should i keep the throttle side grip on even though there’s no glue?

Did the throttle grip tube have ridges?

I would heat it up with a hairdryer and work it on the rest of the way. Pushing inward, starting from the outside, more than turning.

Be careful not to go too far, as it will drag on the housing and cause the throttle not to return properly.

Heres a picture: it seems to have gone on pretty good now that i look at it

^ That looks good, as long as it's not dragging on the housing or barend.

Just confirm the throttle snaps closed without any delay or resistance.
