Anybody have experience mounting this beast? Stabilizers? What datalogging apps available?

What camera and editing tricks are available, like 360 views?

Seems VERY bulky/complicated/pricey.
This might have been the only way to get those shots 10 years ago.
Today you could just get an Insta360 ONE camera, and be done with it.

Yes those 360s get impossible incredible shots, i still dont understand how they work and edit, must use keyframes. I do plan to buy 1, trick seems to be building a custom stable mount not just a bouncy pole, typical pro cinematography issue.

With the Insta360, the mount doesn't have to be particularly sturdy; the cam is incredibly forgiving (I've had the cam on a 12ft pole on a shaky tractor, and it still worked okay).

Editing is decently easy, with a not-too-long learning curve: can be done either in-phone, or through their computer software (I prefer the computer myself).
