wow, why so many bikes/parts sitting around collecting dust?
Was getting ready for a guy from Toronto to come and buy 5 bikes and all related parts this past November. Had been doing the "Antique" plate thing here in Qc to save money and they changed the rules. So on to the 300 for me. Had done the smaller displacement bike thing in the past and loved it, so I'm coming back with one of the best bikes on the planet. I've had 14 bikes here at the same time, all in different states of disrepair...

Try the BORE-01 all the way to Montreal...

Forks of the Credit, Snake Road, to name a few...

But yeah, the grid layout of the GTA can get boring pretty fast. You have to make a bit of a trip to find some good curvy roads.
Hi all,

Just north of Toronto here. :)

What's your OTD price?

First mods planned?
If you shop around you can get MSRP + Tax + licensing fees etc. Don;t settle for anything over that. If your lucky you may be able to take a better deal, especially if you need gear and are willing to buy at the dealership.

First mods include tank pad, and prob Yoshi frame sliders for me. Eventually a Yoshi fender eliminator, some kind of rear hugger, and a slip on exhaust. But those are later.

Here in Quebec (15% sales tax) I got $6090.00 OTD. Only mod I'll be looking at is the 15T front sprocket. Then I'll have to see if my soft bags clear the rear flashers and relocate if necessary. Bunch of stickers cause I have sponsors for racing and maybe smoking the screen...:D:D:D (u know what I mean!!!)

P.S. This is my race bike....Going to be in the Motorcycle Show this weekend in Quebec City...

Roads around here SUCK. Ive been spoiled because I go down to the dragon a few times a year.

But if you want a good day ride there are a few good ones up north.

Hwy 141 from Parry Sound to Hunstville is ok. Probably one of the better ones around. Lots of high speed sweepers the whole way and a few tight low speed turns around lake Rosseau.

There is a hwy way out Bobcaygeon way... just cant remember it.

Keep me in the loop if you guys do plan a group ride.... I would love to come out and hang.

Yea for sure. We will have to get a Canadian crew together at some point :)
I'm in!!! Mtl - TO in 5hrs.....Give me a day warning and I'll be there for the coffee in the morning. Have a cousin in TO who rides (BMW800) and he would love to see me on my bike...Just let me know when....Sometime after the winter of course!!!

For good roads near TO, check my buddy's article in this month's "Inside Motorcycles"....Larry Tate has his regular column and this month he details some of his favorite roads near you....Will reprint if you don't find/buy it...
I don't own a ninja 300 yet, I wonder how many people own one in Eastern Canada. I see at least 3.
Who's up for a ride tonight?! :p

Wait till tomorrow when the 20cm of snow is well under way.
As soon as I started feeling some excitement that the snow might be gone soon... a storm hits. Apparently this one will be affecting our neighbour's down in Eastern US as well. At least the snow can't stop me from picking her up in a week! (even if that means storing her in the garage for months haha)
