Believe what you want Xtina, but I wouldn't put much value in a rumor, especially from a competing dealer.
Besides, even if a certified dealer were dumb enough to pull a underhanded move like that, the penalties wouldn't get passed onto the customers. That would be a terrible mistake on Kawasaki Canada's part, so it just wouldn't happen. As Rekognize pointed out, there is no supporting evidence for your rumour.
Also, MSRP is there for a reason. No MSRP for any product exists without an acceptable profit margin for the reseller. Adding on extra fees is just a tactic to increase a dealers profit margin.
And finally, are you really gonna tell me that St Onge sold me a MOONDUST Ninja 300 from the USA? A model that doesn't even exist there? Haaa, nooo, not possible. And yes, I got mine for MSRP + tax. So yeaaa, don't listen to your friends buddy, who works at a competing dealer.
