Been thinking of getting a GoPro 3 Black, just wondering what you use to mount it and where you mount it.

also what resolution and fps do you use?

I have mine mounted on the chin of my helmet using the J-bracket and a curved adhesive mount. Perfect angle if going for the first-person view, IMO.

I plan to mount mine on the tank, screwed into a mount that attaches to the gas cap. But you need to put the rubber bit in the mount to dampen vibration when you do that.

I normally do 1080P @ 30 fps so the battery doesn't die too quick/fill up my SD card. But if you want to do slow motion edits in post, record at 60 fps

Sorry to hijack but could someone post a picture of a direct view of the helmet with chin mount as I have to mount mine offset to the chin and don't know if that is correct
