I recently just sold my Ninja 500 and bought a new Ninja 300. I had a Givi Monokey Top Case with that bike. I kept the case itself, and I was hoping I could just get these two parts and mount that case on my new Ninja 300.

I guess my two questions are, would my older Monokey case still fit on the newer mounting plate? How hard is it to install this mounting hardware on the bike? I'd like to save the $150-$250 that the shops around here charge to install it. Thanks!

I have a 2013 ninja 300 im about to put this exact rack on soon and the install sounds super easy aside from the idiots saying I needed just a 6mm allen and a 10 and 13mm wrench. In reallity.i need a 6mm allen 5mm allen 10 and 13 mm wrenches i replacd all with socketsnbut as i pullty the whale tail and got put my.new givi bolts realized they arr not alllen andnmuch smaller than a 10 mm socket so frustratingly put the damned whale tale back oem and need to take the mystery bolts socket hunting tomorrow. All of this said is there any torque specs in hindsight as im sure unalready tackled this duento thenage of post for monorack itself or the whale tail as i know passenger peg braclet bolts is 18 ft ibs according to the manual but cant find info onnthebrest
