I have the factory bar ends, asking for $15 shipped for the pair. Also have the gas cap trim ring. I removed the lock, couldn't figure out how to take it apart so i drilled it out. Was thinking it would be good for someone to paint, if they could figure out how to swap locks, asking $15 shipped. If you want it all asking $25 shipped.

I dont know if blow torch is the correct term.. But I used one of those compact propane torches.. Paint held up just fine. Its red lock tight, so the only ways its easily removed is with heat..

yeah heat will take care of that easy lol blow torch work fine, it tends to slightly singe the grips, just bc its not too direct, it spreads. but its barely noticeable, just smokes em a lil, doesnt alter the texture lol

A compact torch or one with a finer tip would be very nice to use, that way your only heating up the bolt, and nto its surroundings.

If its for your engine mounting bolts, you shoudl be fine with a blow torch, just avoid rubber and plastic bits, and if there is rubber, soak it in water to prevent anything first.

Use either and impact gun or a socket attachment so you can get the force needed to get it off, but once that locktite loosens up, it comes off easy
