While we are talking about clip ons, I have a question. To accomodate my wife's height, I will likely need to lower the bike. I am thinking that when I lower the front, I can just put clip ons on the exposed shock tube that will be above the top of the tree, rather than below. Any reason why this would not work? Thanks

The bigger question...why would you want clipons on this bike unless you're racing
To look like a super badass racer boy. Duuuuuh!


Kidding! It is not that I am necessarily looking for clip ons. The options I see for lowering the front are either: 1) the Roaring Toyz spacer/riser that allows for about a 1 inch drop in the front, but also raises the bars an inch; or 2) lowering with clip ons. If I put them on the exposed fork tubes above the tree, I essentially end up with the bars in about the same location as stock.
