Reviews are so so on the 250R says they are slightly noticable with the stock shocks, says they are better with aftermarket shocks but still no THAT amazing..

Really it is just bling for people with clip ons.
Says they install with the stock bars...this isn't the case though is it?
They do install with stock bars, it just allows for less adjustment, I think they only allow for a max setting with the stock bars though..

Most people with clip ons buy them because the top of the stock forks are UGLY haha
While we are talking about clip ons, I have a question. To accomodate my wife's height, I will likely need to lower the bike. I am thinking that when I lower the front, I can just put clip ons on the exposed shock tube that will be above the top of the tree, rather than below. Any reason why this would not work? Thanks

That would work just fine, yet it is more expensive to get clip on's that the front bar risers..
The bigger question...why would you want clipons on this bike unless you're racing

To look like a super badass racer boy. Duuuuuh!

Kidding! It is not that I am necessarily looking for clip ons. The options I see for lowering the front are either: 1) the Roaring Toyz spacer/riser that allows for about a 1 inch drop in the front, but also raises the bars an inch; or 2) lowering with clip ons. If I put them on the exposed fork tubes above the tree, I essentially end up with the bars in about the same location as stock.
I am sure there are clips ons that can simulate the stock position. might just have to look around.. But they are about 6 times the prices of the riser block
