It's not just the power difference between the cbr250 and the 300. Only having one cylinder is a major disadvantage at pretty much any speed. Slight torque gains might be possible from a stop (although the extra hp of the 300 more than compensates), but trying to pass at freeway speeds will be a major challenge. Not to mention the increased vibrations felt at high rpms.
