Yes, congratulations!

Just be careful until you get some miles under you. You can't believe how messed up some drivers are until you find yourself being one of their targets. Keep your head up and look for trouble way down the road. I love the high beam flasher for left turners. (Right turners for the Aussies and Kiwis, right?)

Yeah, so far i've been cut off 3 times and had 2 people back out of their drives ways that was to close for comfort, i can attest the brakes work good as well as my middle finger.... :D:eek:

with a black bike you can expect that a LOT!

Any though to getting a Kawi Green helmet, jacket... safety vest?
I'm convinced that my green bike and gear has kept me visible in the past 4+ years - much more visible than if I'd gone down Black Street, as so many do.

I got a SE ninja on friday in Melbourne from Evolution. If anyone's interested, there's another one left (seen on friday 16). Being a novice, it took me probably 10 or 20 mins to get the hang of bike operation and become a rider (test drive was an embarrassment). And done 100 kms on my first day. Great bike. Gets heaps of attention if you're after that.
