Ugh! People suck. Sorry buddy, I'd be bent.

Want the cheap solution? Repair the plastic by fixing an aluminum plate behind the crack with epoxy and shoot it with rattle can bedliner. It has a light texture and semi flat color. Rustoleum is the brand I use alot iirc, red & white can. Remove the part, repair the crack, sand it and shoot it. That will get it looking OK for under $10 and maybe an hour or two of light work.

Sucks. If you are going to toss the panel let me know please.

That bedliner spray is addictive. It will look 100% better. I use it on alot of stuff, even did a full set of body parts for an old EX250 a few years ago, looks like a Ducati "dark" finish.
