Well I couldn't help it, twas a sunny day, the reindeer were chirping, and the bike came out to destroy them all.

Just figured I'd let you all know abut my glorious run around long island. Really this is an experiment on what I need to do to stay warm. I find myself stopping and picking things up as needed, but seems like I'll have to get some really good winter riding gloves as my layering doesn't seem to be working with the hands. Any tips greatly appreciated.

Coldest ride I have ever done was a 12 mile ride in the snow and ice when and it was about 14 degrees out :)

It was on a Honda Ruckus so I was no to worried about crashing it haha! It actually handled better on the ice than my car at the time :)

I sure got some strange looks though :)

I want a Ruckus so bad, haha.

How cold was it for you, Treizerxh? My general rule is that I don't ride if it's below freezing, but I broke that a bit this morning. I simply invested in a pair of "cold-weather", non-heated gloves from Cortech and they seem to do a decent job. My fingers get a bit chilly after 30 minutes to an hour, but nothing too uncomfortable. Other than that I just wear a four season alpinestars jacket and jeans and I'm happy all day long.

What kind of tires did you have on the Ruckus? Must be fun as ****. Can you post some pics of it.
