I stay in an apartment complex and There is a back area but it rises up so I will have to possibly walk it on a board back there. But I am asking is there a specific over I should get for the rain or snow(but we hardly get that)?

And also what about security? Where from and does it really work?

Especially since you live in an apartment complex, more protection is better than not.

Get a locking cover, a disk lock for the rear tire, and the front tire if you really wanna eb extra safe and have the money. If there is an anchor point you could chain the bike to, do so with a really strong lock and chain, do it to the frame. Also an alarm system/and or tracking device would be good.

if your on a budget, just keep good insurance, get a rear disk lock, i got a xenon xx14. works very well. a locking cover and if there is an anchor point, use it. U can get that setup for a few hundred bucks.

If you start getting into alarm systems it gets really expensive. but they are really nice if you have em.

Like I said, anything more u can do to further inconvenience a thief, do so. it lowers the chance they will even try if they know they have alot up against them to disable to get away with the bike.

I live in an apartment and park my bike in a covered carport. I have a locking cover, disk lock and a cable anchoring it to a large pole. Plus when my car is there, it blocks the bike in.
