I'd say the brakes are more suspicious. Put the front end on a stand and check if the wheel spins free and silently or if there is some drag there.
Are the brake pads new? They may be doing some noise.
Check the torque on the caliper and the axle nut.
Check the mud guard is firm. Is the tire good?
Also check the forks compression with the bike still and see if there is any noise or something that doesn't go smooth.
