I recently low sided due to cold tires. When I turn the handle bars all the way to the left, I still have ~3 fingers width from the gas tank to the grip. When I turn it to the right, I could barely fit 2 fingers. I don't remember the right turning that far. Is there a way to tell if it's straight or needs adjustment? thanks!

I doubt it's the triple. I'm betting on tweaked bars.

you could eyeball it, or you could take all the switches/lever hardware and grips off the suspect side and put a straight-edge on the bar. If it's bent, it would show up that way...

You can usually tell just by looking at them. You might also notice your hands/arms at different positions when the bike is steering straight ahead. The bending typically happens right at the point where the bars are connected. Maybe you'll see some paint wrinkling there as well.

Thanks guys, the only way I can tell so far is how far the handle bar turns when I turn it to the far right. Hmm
