So I had to run to my uncles house which is a 45 min freeway ride. And I threw my inner liner to my jacket in my backpack incase it got cold. The backpack is nothing fancy. Came with my cover. And when I got off the freeway I noticed my backpack felt different. And I had lost my inner liner. It irritates me more then anything because I thought I felt it unzipping but I was like Naaaah it's just the wind. SOB!

I did a double back and didn't find it anywhere. I guess it's no big deal because I can just put a hoodie on under it but still. Anyone else do anything stupid like this?

Looks like ill be investing in a decent backpack soon.

Do you zip it to the top of the backback?

I always zip mine down, so it can't unzip.

Definitely sucks none the less.

Did same thing but my bag had two compartments and I was riding with friends. I tucked on the freeway and my friend behind said the smaller compartment flew open and some stuff flew out. We pulled over and my keys were still in there but the two small black bags that my liners and face mask came with flew out. The actual gear was in the larger compartment zipped correctly. The one that flew open was zipped at the top from getting gas and not paying attention before leaving. I've done similar with pockets and lost some receipts.

I have an Ogio Mach 5 now.

I'm just more mad at myself for letting it happen then anything. The liner is replaceable. But yeah I think I zipped the zippers to the top. Dumb move. But I thought myself something today! I posted that on the side of an exit and just took the long way home to cool my jets. Riding is always a good way to clear your head.

I ride to work and take my laptop in my backpack for study purposes and always zip it at the top.
Having read this though, I better start closing the zips at the bottom!
Sorry to hear you lost your liner!
