Hey all,

I am contemplating shipping a 300 over to Cambodia this summer and wanted to know if the 300 has a way to disable the headlights? Cambodia traffic law makes it illegal to have lights on during the day - yeah, I know, it seems counter-intuitive.

This will be my first bike and my MSF instructor stated that most modern bikes have an auto-on headlight feature that can't be disabled.

Thanks for any help!

So, a mechanic would be able to re-wire it so I could turn on the high beam and low beam when needed?

Yeah no need to change high beam leave it where it is but they can disconnect low beam lights and wire them through a new relay and switch similar to how you hook up spot lights on a car

No probs let me know how you get on if they say they can't do it (they can they just don't want to) and if they do I will get you a wiring diagram of how to hook it up so it runs off switch not auto
