I just realized that the Air Cut valve and circuit is removed from my 2014 ninja 300. The cylinder head cover has a plate where the hose is supposed to connect and the air box is capped where it connects there.
How will this affect the engine? Thank you for any help.

That is an emission control system to introduce hydrocarbon vapor back into the combustion process, and if done correctly won't have any effect.

@Steve Oh
It's a recommended mod to do if you installed a slip on or full system and changed the air filter, or tuned the bike with a flash or PC or similar.

It should benefit the tuning. Some people say it's impossible to tune the bike correctly with that system on.
It may eliminate the rear popping when decelerating. Although mine didn't do it. It popped before and after the mod.
