Go figure that the 250 is actually an upgrade to the 300!

Still produces 39HP but is 167kg instead of 174 (mostly in the fuel tank which dropped from 17L to 14L)

No it's not.

That's 3 liter difference.
1 liter of gas = approx 750 grams.
3 liter of gas = approx 2250 grams. (2.25kg)

167kg and 174 kg is 7kg difference, not 2.25kg.

I wrote that wrong. I just meant that some of that weight that was lost is wet weight. However, it looks like they've maintained the range per tank (300/250 is about equal to 17/14).
