dkw12002 The newer ones should be better than the older ones if the older ones haven't had the recalls and other fixes such as fairing gaps what were common with the 2013s. One would assume that they replaced the bad 2013 ECUs with different ones, figured out how to improve the fairing fit and improved the ABS issues that caused a recall in earlier models. First I heard about the dashboard being improved. It's still hard to see the turn signals in daylight. The Ninja 300 is a pretty reliable bike at this point. All the 300s including the R3 and CB300s have had recalls though, so each of those should also be improving with each year as they sort out more and more bugs. With the Ninja 300, as with many motorcycles is getting the company to acknowledge issues....such as the fairing gaps and stalling issues. It took them over a year to own up to it. They play very dumb about problems with their bikes that are obvious to owners just from reading the forums.

It was brand new with not even 1 mile on it. I did change the oil myself right away in-case it had been sitting the whole time. Other than that it has been a great bike. I just put 540 on it. Still working on that break in.
That's a steal for sure. Might as well ride it like you stole it, because you did.

origins

My 2013 originated in Thailand. My 2014 originated in Japan. In a disscusion about differences in model years, then this Difference is worthy of mention.

Shift fork in the 2013 started to mess up at around 3K miles. My '14 is rock solid.

Matte grey is great, it doesn't require that much polish. On the other hand when you scratch it, you scratch it. It's just not that easy to see it.

I guess the only difference is Colour available as per country. Which would you guys choose and why?

Sulman Not enough to worry about. They're essentially the same bike.

Are these bikes all the same? I heard the 14's were better than 13's with the random stall fix and 16's are better then 15's because upgraded A.B.S. and dash lighting is this correct?
