Phone call & hope for mankind ?

Hi,

Was in one of my doctors waiting rooms this afternoon.

While I was sitting there an elderly couple came in and the husband was chatting with the receptionist. Suddenly the ladies cell phone rang. Before answering it, she turned to me and said ...................

" I DO NOT WANT TO DISTURD YOU. WOULD YOU MIND IF I TOOK THIS PHONE CALL ??

SHOCKED !! I was literally SHOCKED !!

I responded by saying that I did not have me hearing aids in and she could take all the phone calls that she wants. She just smiled and said thank you.

After she finished with the phone call, I just had to tell her that she was so polite, kind and considerate. I have never, ever had that happen to me and I sincerely doubt that it will ever happen again.

But at least for a moment, I felt that I was in the presence of a kind, considerate person and maybe, just maybe their is still hope for mankind.

True Story !! Learn from it people !!

Quite amazing indeed.

Although in situations like those (albeit not raining, and not minus 20 degrees), I just step outside....

Very rare on these days.

Anyways, I still think mankind is doomed and won't survive much longer.
