Cluster Scratch Protection Film Shield for Ninja300 - MotoSkin

I'm considering spending the 20 bucks on a protection film for my gauges. I always do my headlights/iphone when they are new and if the dash will be exposed to the Canadian weather then it might be worth it. They are cheap on ebay i will try to post the link here

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Cluster-Scrat...9X5o0p&vxp=mtr

has anyone tried them?

I could always offer the guy when he does my headlight film in the spring but for 20 bucks it seems worth a try.

I have no film on my instrument panel, but I have xpel ultimate film on my fuel tank(top & sides). The film has worked well so far.
If you use a soft microfiber cloth to clean your instrument panel, it should be fine. I guess this film will keep it like new. My only concern would be "yellowing", but you can remove the film anytime.

Regards,
Kaustav

I ordered it ! I will post pictures soon. If it looks cheap I will not use it. Not really planning on leaving it in the sun for super long times, but when I get my Headlight covered in 3M clear film at my local tint shop I will ask the installer to do both and what he thinks of it.

I did and received it a while ago but have not been home until now, I will be getting a professional to install it when i get my headlights covered because it does say spray water on cluster film then place on cluster and I would personally leave it to a professional to do so i don't damage my new toy. Anyone could do it and has easy step by step pictured instructions. I'm a perfectionist kinda with OCD
The quality seems 10/10 looks similar to ipad or iphone thick protection film and claims to be scratch resistant is super clear feels smooth but i will still ask the installer. Still I would recommend this to anyone if they ever thought it was worth that great price to preserve your dash.
