Ninja 300 stall

Has anyone had an issue of their 300 stalling?

I was in 5th gear coming up to a stop light, I pulled in the clutch to start down shifting and as soon as I pulled in the clutch my bike died. It started right back up with no problem. When it happened I was floating around 4k rpms if that makes a difference. Any thoughts?

I had it happen to me for about a day. As soon as I pulled in the clutch it would die. Then it would start back up. I dont know what was up with it but it just stopped doing it. I did turn up my idle a little for a while. Then I dropped it down to normal and its gone. Maybe it was bad gas.

Might be bad gas. I put in 87 although it has ethanol in it, but I only fill up at a Shell or Chevron station (Mostly Chevron).

Dealer told me to put in 91, but the manual says 87. So I've been using 87.

Had the sane issue when i first got the bike, it seemed to have fixed itself though..

I reported it to Kawi and they called me 2 weeks ago to follow up on this, i asked if this has becoming an issue, and they said they are getting allot of reports about this issue, yet do not have a fix yet.

It has been documented here before and it does happen to me. It happens before my bike is hot and particularly going down a hill. Squeeze the clutch and the engine dies. I am still rolling so I let the clutch out just a second and it restarts. That's it. I live near the top of a hill, so that's when I notice it. After that, it doesn't happen. I'm sure you could set the idle a little higher if it bothers you. If it only happened when your bike was cold...say a couple minutes after starting out, and restarts by popping the clutch in first, I wouldn't worry about it. Someone mentioned it earlier and the shop set the idle a little higher.

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.

Only time my bike has stalled out on me was the first few days when i was first learning to ride it (first time on a bike).

Oh and I stalled it the other day at a red light when i went to snap my bookbag strap and neck strap and accidently missed neutral.

So... user error. No mechanical issues. If it has to do with hills then I won't have that problem in the flatlands of Virginia (east coast)
