Got my license today :) sorry break in period -_-

Finally got my class m license today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . The test was wayyyyyy easier than I though it was gonna be. Only 20 questions !?!? I went straight home after I got it and hopped on my baby My first ride was during 5:00 traffic 😧. I'm not going to be able to stick to the break in period In 6th gear, 4k rpm,s and I'm only going 40 mph !!!! Most speed limits here are around 50. Did you stick to the break in specs ???

What break in spec? Lol

I ride how I want to and it has been fine. They rev the crap out of it when they built it. Just ride normally.

Hahaha. 4k rpms for first 500 miles. Then 6k rpms for 500-1000 miles. I would not be able to safely stick to that haha.

The soft break in is 4k rpm for the 1st 600 and 6 K to 1000. BUT if you do go over said rpm just don't hold it there for more than 10 seconds. You want to roll your wrist just a tiny bit enough to raise and lower your rpms (100 rpms is satisfactory) and your bike will be fine.

Driving home from the dealer I realized I could not be safe at the rpm restriction and drove it how I needed to.
