What weight is the shock sprung for?

It's the stock 06-07 GSXR 600 shock spring, so the rate is 9.4 kg/mm or ~525 lb/in. Ideal rider weight will depend on your application (racing/aggressive street/normal street/touring) and even then if you ask 3 people you'll probably get 3 different answers.

On the bright side, it's the same spring rate as the stock Ninja 300 shock. So if you're already happy with your sag measurements, this shock won't change them. You'll just get much better damping.

I'm 165 lbs naked and it worked great for me on the street and track days.

 

How much for the whole bike and bits?

$140 Nissin 4-pot caliper (w/ new SVRP bracket + new EBC HH pads)
- used CBR 929 caliper, tested w/ compressed air and pistons move smoothly.. never installed it

$ 20 eBay levers (short brake, long clutch)

 

I'm interested in the rearsets if you still have them.
