Interesting overhaul. I do really appreciate the option to go back to the "classic" ninja300 forum look and feel. I will give the new and "improved" interface a try and see how I like it. I will share any feedback as it crossed my mind. Hopefully this site can continue to grow and prosper.

Eric

PS, I didn't mind the old attachment system, it was pretty easy to use imo, but the ability to drag and drop is pleasant.

One feature that I may recommend that I still find overly complicated is the image size restrictions and potentially the lack of auto image adjustment capability. I find myself constantly having to reduce the image size's via websites such as:
http://jpeg-optimizer.com/

Perhaps a built in feature executing such image compressions to allowable dimensions and sizes would be a pleasant (and actually useful and necessary) improvement.

Calculated risks.

Have you tried the App?

Try logging out/in and clearing cache, it might help with any speed issues also.

Where are you uploading and what are the limits on the re-sizing for you now? I might be able to bump them up.

You can tweak some seeting here:

I don't like the new forum software that so many mc sites are switching to (same owner I guess). I literally stop visiting and reading them. Meh, whatever. Easy come, easy go.

I am part of the team managing all the conversions, any more detailed feedback?

Also are you aware you can revert to the old view on most of the sites?

Jeff, out of curiosity, what is the back end for this forum? I've been toying with the idea of taking ownership of my Universities unofficial fan forum and would like to have this forum in my back pocket so to speak. Based on what you've added, looks like this forum has a ton of 'plug-in' support.

Starting a year ago all my favorite vBulletin sites have been switching to this newer version.

I like the addition of the Like button and rate feature to get the best threads noticed.
I don't care for how big the font and buttons are. I would rather get more content on my screen for less scrolling. Reduction of the side bar sizes would be nice. I know you can get rid of the one.

Classic view it is for me for now. Does using the classic format reduce any speed benefit compared to using the new version?

We use a very customized version of vbullentian 3.8.7

4.0+ and up are nothing but issues.

The classic sometimes has some slowness or small bugs, let me know if any stand out and we can take a look at them.
