So just got the 300 going for my wife since we have this odd warm weather. Took it around the block to warm it up and check everything over and noticed coolant leaks from almost everything that could be leaking. I am just wondering if anyone else has had their cooling system go to crap after 2+ years of ownership, bought it new in 2014 and did not expect the cooling system to have problems this early.
It is leaking from both ends of the lower radiator hose and from the crossover pipe on left side that goes from lower side of the engine up to the head. I tightened the clamps but was only able to get maybe one full turn of the screw so they were not really that loose, which means that there is already coolant corrosion built up under the hoses. Also have a small leak at the aluminum fitting where the crossover piped goes to the head, gasket has failed. I am thinking there is an electrolysis issue so I am going to change to engine ice when I replace all the hoses/gaskets.
Didn't see a lot of threads regarding coolant leaks so thought I would start a new one to ask around.
